These allow you to concentrate on your lats and upper
back without bringing the lower back into play.  A
cambered bar is used to allow for a greater range of
motion.  The barbell can be pulled into the stomach
for lat work or to the chest for upper back work.

 
While lying on a bench set high enough to allow for a
full stretch at the bottom, have a barbell handed to
you.

Row the barbell up until it makes contact with
the bench.
