In Response To: Assasin of Joy (j/k)  (Jeri)

Jeri was awesome and tried every weight without fear or reservation. From the sidelines I can tell you that Jeri has a tremendous amount of heart and a LOT more gains in her (she's only 18). Her squat and bench will rocket once she brings up a few lagging muscle groups and get's more accustomed to lifting in gear. Her deadlift technique would make Ken proud as she pulled with the same quick, aggressive, conventional style as he does (and she hauled up her pulls in a singlet and belt).

Seven-for-nine in a National meet, four meet PRs (squat/bench/deadlift/total), three silver medals, one bronze, the admiration and gratitude of the entire Nicollas State powerlifting team, and a ton of respect from Adam, myself, and everyone in attendance. Not a bad day for her second USAPL meet.

By the way, one of the "coaches" who was plotting the strategy for Jeri's last attempt was IPF World Champ Wade Hooper. I thought it was funny that I needed to tell her who "that short guy" was 8^D.

I am very, very proud of you!

Todd
