NASA Northeastern States Championships
Gary Zeolla logged another outstanding performance at this meet. Gary lifted in the 114.5 class and the following divisions; Divisions:
Unequipped (belt and wraps, no suit or shirt).
Powerlifting (squat, bench, deadlift = total).
Open Pure (Lifetime Anabolic Steroid Free) and Masters (40+) Pure.
Gary Squatted 331 pounds, Benchpressed 187 pounds, and Deadlifted 402 pounds for a grand Total of 902 pounds. 8 NASA Gary went through 8 NASA American Records like a hot knife through butter! FANTASTIC LIFTING Gary!

Monsters Of The Mall Results
Rodney Wood represented WTU very well in this meet. In Rodney's words;
Great meet, Tully and the crew did an awesome job, competition was primo in all classes, and what can you say about the awards other than SWEEEEET. This is one of the best meets PLING OR SM I have ever competed in.

15" Partial DL for reps 450lbs 12 reps 2nd in my class

Farmers Hold for time 240lbs implments a time of 46 sec. 2nd

Odd Object Carry and Load 200 sand bag 220 stone and I am pretty sure 225 keg staggered from 25 feet in. 18.49 sec. 1st

Last event Keg Load 205 225 250 280 300 Time 27.11 1st

I won the masters division, set a masters record and came home injury free I would call that a almost perfect day.

Tenessee NASA Meet

Big Wade Johnson Lifted in the Powersports in this meet. Wade made the power of his guns known with an enormous 176 pound curl. Wade went on to Benchpress 424 pounds and Deadlift 661 pounds for a Total of 1,262 pounds. Superb lifting Big Wade!

USPF MO Open
Ken Ufford, his son Zach, and Joe (the Joe show) Humbyrd Opened the year in a spectacular way.
Ken Ufford hit a single ply PR Squat of 750 pounds, Benchpressed 550 pounds, and Deadlifted 770 pounds for a single ply PR Total of 2070 pounds! Congratulations Ken.

Joe Humbyrd did his first full meet in over a year. But there was no rust or dust to blow off of his performance. Joe Squatted a PR 605 pounds, Benchpressed 440 pounds with a reverse grip, and Deadlifted 550 pounds, for a Total of 1600 pounds. Very impressive lifting Joe!

Zach Ufford proved the ol acorn don't fall from the tree with his PR Benchpress of 245 pounds. Excellent lifting, especially for a 15 year old lifter. Keep up the good work Zach.
