Time again for my back exercises post....
Simple Dr. Massey Exercises:
First, lay on your back with your knees bent and together, feet flat on the floor. Rock your knees to the right as far as you can comfortably rock them and then back to the center position. Repeat for about 30 times. Then go the left 30 times. Try for three sets. Take your time and relax. Just try to feel the stretch.
Next, stand with feet shoulder width apart, knees straight, hands on hips. Now, do a mini-hip circle. Just rotate your hip/back joint without bending your knees. Make the cirlces very small, slow and controlled. Do about 100-200 in each direction.
Both these should take you sometime to do. Do them for about a week and they should loosen up your back quite well. I do advanced variations and different exercises for my lower back after/durring every workout to prevent another lower back injury.
