Tournament, Jan 19
Burlington
Chess Club was well represented
4
entrants
Jared Shaw, rating 861, of Coralville (who has attended
several of our Tournaments) won with 3-0.
The other 3 (all in lst tournament and 2 joined USCF)
scored 1-2, losing to Jared and beating each other.
One of them, Michael Mahoney of burlington, who I
think was the best player of the 3, may be at our
Chess Club Saturday - I promised him some instruction.
