I have gone through all of the beginner stuff but there was not a lot of info regarding warm ups etc. So basically I was curious as to how much of a percentage the warm up sets should be.
As of today I started with the intermediate routine listed there. In
the past, I have done most of the lifts listed but a few are new.
It is posted here if interested:

I felt like I could have done a lot more. So that was why I asked about working back down. I wasnt sure if that was implied. I guess not.
Also, Is there a reason why the squats and DL's only come around every two weeks? As per the routine, you only squat on the first Saturday and then you do not do it again untill 14 days later. It usually takes me about 2 days to get over doing those, so they seem very far apart.
Thanks.

You'll find that doing a widestance squat and deadlifting will hit your hips, glutes, and back more than you may be used to. If you've never deadlifted before, starting slow is a good way to go.
Powerlifting workouts are designed to be cycled. You can't work at your max weight all the time, especially when the reps/set get below 3. So some workouts you'll feel like you can do more. But those workouts are preparation for what's to come. You should feel challenged, maybe not by the weight itself but with bar speed, form, and execution. You'll always cycle from light weight to heavy weight and start the cycle again. This is what frustrates someone with a bodybuiding background: you're not going to do a million sets and a million reps for a million exercises per bodypart.
Hope I have helped.
