Reverse band floor presses - Reverse band floor
presses work the lockout portion of a bench press.
The bar is hung from bands at a height that takes
approx. 135 lbs. to reach the chest.
A barbell floor
press is performed by lowering a
barbell until your upper arms rest on the floor, relax
for a split second to lose muscle tension and then
pres the bar back up. The bands assist in getting the
bar moving from the bottom position but quickly reduce
their assistance as the bar is raised.
